Mr A. Abdukadirov, First Deputy Director of the Agency for Strategic Development and Reforms, met with Mr O. Grandvoinet, Head of the French Development Agency (AFD) Representative Office in Uzbekistan. During the meeting, the parties considered possible areas of cooperation in the field of strategic planning.
Particular attention was given to aligning these areas with the “Uzbekistan — 2030” strategy and the national strategic planning system, including long-term scenario analysis and data management.
The parties discussed the current and forthcoming cycles of cooperation between the AFD Group and the Republic of Uzbekistan, including the partnership framework document for the period beyond 2025. They also separately explored opportunities for training and the exchange of experience with French state institutions for strategic planning, as well as the organisation of internships for the Agency’s specialists.
Following the meeting, the parties reaffirmed their mutual interest in further developing cooperation in line with the priorities and objectives set out in the “Uzbekistan — 2030” strategy.
