In accordance with Presidential Decree No. 113 of the Republic of Uzbekistan, dated 14 July 2025, \u201cOn additional measures to further support forward-looking initiatives in the implementation of reforms\u201d, the practice of holding the \u201cKelajak uchun\u201d (For the Future) Forum of Forward-Looking Initiatives<\/strong> has been introduced in the country.<\/p>\n

The Forum is aimed at supporting and implementing forward-looking initiatives put forward by a wide range of the population. To establish this system, the crowdsourcing platform kelajakuchun.gov.uz was created and launched.<\/p>\n

The Organising Committee identified the following priority areas for this year\u2019s Forum:<\/p>\n

\u2014 developing entrepreneurship and ensuring employment;<\/p>\n

\u2014 expanding the scope of environmental protection, water supply and green energy;<\/p>\n

\u2014 introducing digital technologies and artificial intelligence;<\/p>\n

\u2014 improving the quality of education;<\/p>\n

\u2014 developing the judicial and legal system on the basis of modern approaches.<\/p>\n

Following the announcement of the Forum, more than 1,300 proposals and initiatives<\/strong> were submitted by the public. All initiatives were reviewed by the Agency for Strategic Development and Reforms and the Business Development Bank, and consolidated according to the established priority areas.<\/p>\n

They were then analysed and evaluated with the participation of members of the Mentors\u2019 Council and sectoral experts. Based on the results, the most relevant and practically significant projects were shortlisted into a \u201cTop 50\u201d and a \u201cTop 10\u201d.<\/p>\n

Today, the awards ceremony for the authors of the Forum\u2019s \u201cTop 10\u201d initiatives<\/strong> was held at the Agency for Strategic Development and Reforms. The winners received certificates and cash prizes.<\/p>\n

These forward-looking initiatives will now be presented at a forum to be held with the participation of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan. An action plan for their implementation has been approved.<\/p>\n

The projects have been assigned, according to their thematic relevance, to organisations including the National Committee on Ecology and Climate Change, the Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, the Ministry of Digital Technologies, the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Preschool and School Education, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Transport and the Committee for Motor Roads.<\/p>\n

JSCB \u201cBusiness Development Bank\u201d will finance the forward-looking initiatives and carry out ongoing monitoring of their implementation.<\/p>\n

The \u201cFor the Future\u201d Forum serves to engage the wider public in the implementation of people-centred reforms, to create an open platform for dialogue on forward-looking initiatives, and to identify and encourage advanced ideas.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
